YouTuber Will it Work? has revealed through an experiment that Apple's AirTag will even work with a BlackBerry from 2014 thanks to its NFC chip. You can scan an AirTag to find information about it and reunite it with its owner.
Apple has warned AirTag customers not to use batteries with bitterant coatings in their AirTags, as the special coating might not work. Bitterant is used by battery makers to help prevent children from swallowing batteries.
We've already seen various people send AirTags through the mail to see where they went, but now someone has sent one home — to Apple CEO Tim Cook. What's more, the AirTag was returned with a letter from Apple.
