View stunning photojournalistic photography with 2011 World Press Photo Contest

World Press Photo has released an app to display the work of their top photojournalists, 2011 World Press Photo Contest.

  • All award-winning photos from the 2011 World Press Photo Contest
  • 19 video interviews with award-winning photographers
  • Browse images by location
  • Photographer biographies
  • Camera detail information
  • List of jury members and jury interviews

If you can't get enough good photography, particularly photojournalistic, this app won't disappoint - the pictures look stunning on the iPad. My favorite feature is that every photo also includes the EXIF details (focal length, f-stop, shutter speed, and ISO). The photographer biographies are also pretty neat.

2011 World Press Photo Contest is available for $4.99. Check out the screenshots after the break.
