The Watch ABC channel on Apple TV has been updated to give viewers access to recently aired shows on the ABC network. With the update, Apple TV users will be able to stream full episodes of TV shows a week after the airing date. Along with this capability, ABC also tweaked some features inside the app.
If you're a paying TV subscriber, ABC says:
Viewers who subscribe to a participating pay TV service can watch the most recent episode the next day and those in Chicago, Fresno, Houston, Los Angeles, New York, Philadelphia, Raleigh-Durham and San Francisco can also watch a live 24- hour feed of the network.
The Watch ABC channel now shows the most recently available episode in the middle of the UI. Additionally, with the update, users now have access to continuous play so you can binge watch your favorite ABC shows.
The WATCH ABC app on Apple TV has also been updated with a new bolder, immersive look and feel, more short- form video and continuous play mode.
