What's new on the App Store: The Everything Machine, Pac-Man, and apps for student life

This week, we start off with The Everything Machine, an app that encourages kids to build anything they want using the sensors and camera on their iPhone. Giphy has launched Giphy Cam, which lets you record and edit your own GIFs. Disney has released an official app for its Disneyland resort. Finally, we have StockTwits, a new app that lets you message with fellow followers of the stock market.

For games this week we start with a new spin on an arcade classic with Pac-Man 256. Racing fans can take a look at Horizon Chase- World Tour. Those of you that loved Final Fantasy VII might be happy to know that Square Enix has brought the game to iPhone and iPad. Finally, we have Dice Mage, a spell combat RPG in the style of 8-bit games, that lets you explore new worlds, battle enemies in dice-based matchups, and more.

Apple has brought together a new collection apps that students might find particularly fun or helpful. There are apps for finding your own style, like Pinterest, The Hunt, and Threadless. There are also apps that encourage learning outside of the classroom, such as Tayasui Sketches, Autodesk's Instructables DIY How-to guide, and Khan Academy.

Check back next week for more new apps and games from the App Store, and remember to check out this week's Free App of the Week.
