I just did this yesterday, I didn't have to add a repo either, the browser chooser tweak came up in the base repo's.

All I did was open cydia, clicked on features in the main page, then went to mobile safari add-ons and it was right there.

The excellent Browser Changer with corresponding SBSettings toggle has been around a lot longer and supports well over 30 separate browsers, allowing me to choose my favorite, iCab. It too has been updated and has had Chrome added to its list.

(forgot to add, it will also allow you to redirect Maps and YouTube to the browser of your choice, I wish someone would just come out with "InternetConfig". I wonder how many people that will trigger a memory for…)

Warning to iBlank users: blank icons will open when tapped if you have browser changer installed.

Or just use Android, which doesn't have all these limitations that require jailbreaking to get a decent user experience.

Rmkilc, go the f@#* back to androidcentral you troll. Oh,
I hope you enjoy google selling your personal info, azzhole.

I find it ironic that you think so negatively of Google and yet this article is about making Google's browser your default browser...

All we need now is a version of Safari Download Manager for Chrome and I should be all set! :)

Chrome still needs a less complicated bookmarks manager and a refresh button besides the URL. Other than that it's a great browser.

Neither option works for me. Both give me errors when trying to open a link from email. Links will only work if I use Safari. Too bad as this is one of the most annoying aspects of iOS.

hmmm thats odd because i just tried to open a link from the email app and it worked flawlessly. Try removing and reinsalling the tweak and see if that works.

I've tried reinstalling both multiple times and still get the "unsupported URL" error. I guess Apple still has me locked in their browser garden.
