Grab a UK iPad Air for just £329 today only from Play.com!

Deals on new Apple products are always few and far between, and since we don't really do Black Friday here in the UK, this one is an early chance to save some cash on a new iPad Air. For today only, online retailer Play.com is selling the 16GB WiFi only iPad Air for just £329!

That's a saving of £70 on something that has been out less than three weeks, and will end at the end of the day, or whenever they run out. Purchases are limited to a maximum of three per customer, but if you've been on the fence, now might be the best chance you'll get for a great deal on a new iPad Air. It's also just £10 more than the least expensive Retina iPad mini, so a definite deal to be had. Let me know if you pick one up!

That's interesting: the iPad is listed at £329, which is about 390 Euro, but when I switch to see the price in Euro on that site, it costs 513.50 Euro....

I need to find out if they ship to other parts of Europe because that's a good deal!

....Well at least compared to the prices normally found here in Poland

Hell yeah ! In Poland it's minimum £400 for the iPad Air (and average salary that people earn is around £300 a month) so I would get one in an instant if I was in UK now.

Looks like it's not actually Play.com that's selling it but some sort of affiliate called Spencermann. I seriously doubt this is a genuine offer, looks very suspicious. I am in the UK and I would take advantage if I didn't think it was a scam.

Richard Devine says:

I'm not sure that Play.com would be promoting it on the front page of their website if it was a scam

No Black Fridays in the UK?! [lucky]

Damn it, my credit card jumped out of my wallet and bought one... :)

I was on the fence until I saw one in the Apple Store last week. Now should I cancel my iPad Mini Retina order...

I know I as a consumer should just be happy when we get discounts but I can't help but wonder why iPad Airs are getting a lot of discounts lately. It's only been out for less than a month and I doubt that it's not selling well. Any idea what's the reason behind those retailers selling them at discounted prices?

I agrees - seems a little suspect. I do feel apple has been less than energetic with this product line. Even the launch event was too low key. Yet they are great products!

I always feel bad about other countries always getting screwed over Apple's currency translations, not to mention the VAT taxes.
