New on iTunes: Music from X Ambassadors, movie bundles on sale, and more

Apple Music might be out, but that doesn't mean the iTunes Store is slowing down. This week we have new music from X Ambassadors, the first digital release of Dr. Dre's The Chronic, discounts on several movies, and more.

This week in new music, we have VHS, the new album from X Ambassadors. This week also sees the first digital release of The Chronic, the first studio album by Dr. Dre, which originally released in 1992. The iTunes Store also has discounts on several big summer albums, including Smoke + Mirrors from Imagine Dragons, Ed Sheeran's X, and Lauryn Hill's The Miseducation of Lauryn Hill, all for $6.99 each.

In movies, there are a number of films available on sale this week, with action classic Independence Day available for $9.99 ahead of the Fourth of July weekend. You can also get all four Terminator films for $9.99 each. If you're so inclined you can also pick up Paul Blart: Mall Cop 2 two weeks before its release on DVD and Blu-ray. The Hunger Games: Mockingjay - Part 1 is your Movie of the Week, available for a $0.99 rental and $9.99 purchase.

New in TV, there are new summer premieres, discounted season passes, and more. Humans, the new sci-fi series from AMC, has its premiere episode available for free on the iTunes Store. All seasons of The West Wing, the Aaron Sorkin-created political drama, are available for $20 each, while the complete seven-season series is available as a collection for $69.99.
