‘jOBS’ biopic with Ashton Kutcher delayed and no new date announced

The Steve Jobs biopic starring Ashton Kutcher which was set to make its big screen debut on April 19 has now been delayed. According to a report by Deadline, the film will no longer arrive on April 19 and no new date has been announced yet either.

The first clip from the upcoming jOBS movie starring Ashton Kutcher as the late Steve Jobs and Josh Gad as Steve Wozniak has been released. In the short clip it shows Steve and Woz discussing how Woz has the ability to create a personal computer that actually displays information on a screen in real-time. The clip was discovered by Gizmodo and Steve Wozniak jumped into the original posts comments to have his say on the accuracy of the clip.

The Steve Jobs biopic starring Ashton Kutcher is set to make its nationwide movie theater premier on April 19 according to The Hollywood Reporter. It also claims that the date of release coincides with the 37th anniversary of the founding of Apple however that date appears to be incorrect as it is widely thought that Apple was founded on April 1 1976.

Ashton Kutcher and Josh Gad will make an appearance in the opening keynote at this year’s Macworld / iWorld event. Ashton Kutcher and Josh Gad play Steve Jobs and Steve Wozniak respectively in the upcoming movie biopic jOBS. They will be followed later in the day by musician will.i.am and Intel’s futurist Brian David Johnson.

Rich King Casting has placed an ad on Craigslist seeking cast members for the upcoming unofficial Steve Jobs biopic. The movie which stars Ashton Kutcher, officially titled jOBS will start filming next week and needs cast members that look like they are from the seventies.

Apple sending legal threats to ultra-realistic Steve Jobs action figure maker

It didn't take long, but according to The Telegraph, Apple has sicked their lawyers on In Icon, the company behind the life-like Steve Jobs action figure we reported on earlier this week.

But 'their efforts have reportedly met with' a legal challenge with Apple allegedly threatening to sue the toy maker unless they cease trading. The legal wrangle is over the likeness of the doll to the late Apple founder, the rights of which the company claims it owns.

New Steve Jobs action figure is ultra-realistic, may not last long

Forbes reports that a new Steve Jobs action figure from Inicon is so realistic, the photos actually make it look real. The action figure comes with the following details.

one realistic ‘head sculpt;’

two pairs of glasses;

a ‘highly articulated body;’

three pairs of hands;

one tiny black turtleneck;

one tiny pair of blue jeans;

You can purchase the action figure from Inicon's website, however, we're not exactly sure how long Apple's hordes of lawyers will let this one last -- go grab it while it's still up!
