What you need to know

  • Apple announced a slew of new products today.
  • The company dropped a series of videos to YouTube to highlight each new release.

Apple announced a ton of new products and services at its 'Spring loaded' event today and, as a way to celebrate all of the new things, the company is dropping a series of videos to its YouTube page.

Introducing iPad Pro

The first video, titled Introducing iPad Pro, highlights all of the things that are new with the iPad Pro.

Supercharged by the Apple M1 chip. 12.9" Liquid Retina XDR display for extreme contrast and breathtaking detail. Blazing fast 5G wireless. A new ultra wide camera with Center Stage. Thunderbolt, the fastest, most versatile port ever on iPad. And works perfectly with Magic Keyboard and Apple Pencil.

Introducing AirTag | Couch

The second video shows off how the company's new AirTag product can help you find all of your missing items using the Find My app.

AirTag. Keep track of your keys, wallet, luggage, backpack, and more, all in the Find My app. Play a sound on the built-in speaker, or say "Hey Siri, find my gym bag." With select iPhone models, Precision Finding can lead you right to your nearby AirTag. If it's farther away, hundreds of millions of Apple devices in the Find My network can help track it down. All anonymously and encrypted for privacy. Because we're all human, and we're a lot better at losing things than we are at finding them.

Say hello to the new iMac

Apple has also dropped a new video highlighting everything that is new with its redesigned, extremely colorful iMac.

You've never seen a computer like this before. Seven vibrant colors. Impossibly thin design. 24-inch 4.5K Retina display. The best camera, mics, and speakers in a Mac. Supercharged by the Apple M1 chip. No room it's in will ever be the same.

Mission Implausible

Apple made a fun little video that showcased how the Mac isn't the only product that wants to get its hands on the M1 chip.

Everyone wants to get their hands on the Apple M1 chip. So we took the chip from Mac and used it to supercharge the iPad Pro.

Developers, meet iPad Pro

Apple has released a video of developers who share their reaction to the new iPad Pro.

The M1 chip has totally supercharged iPad Pro. And to say these developers are excited would be...a bit of an understatement.

Mmmmm, purple

Apple debuted a brand new Purple finish for the iPhone 12 today and has a video to show it off.

5G. Ceramic Shield, tougher than any smartphone glass. Night mode on all cameras. An edge-to-edge OLED display. iPhone 12. Now in purple. Pre-order 4.23. Available 4.30.
