Apple gets ready for the Olympics with transit directions in Rio de Janeiro

Ahead of this summer's Olympic games in Rio de Janiero, Brazil, Apple has turned on support for transit directions for the city in Maps. The app now offers directions for Rio de Janeiro's buses, light rail, subways, and ferry boats.

Transit directions came to Maps with the launch of iOS 9 and OS X El Capitan. Launching initially in a small group of locations, including New York, London, and Mexico City, Maps has continued to add support for transit systems in cities across the world.
