Apple said to be expanding retail store Personal Pickup internationally

Apple is reportedly planning an international expansion of its Personal Pickup option. Apple Retail Stores in multiple countries, including France and the U.K., are apparently preparing for this rollout, which could take place as soon as this month.
From MacRumors:
Apple is planning to roll out Personal Pickup internationally as early as November, possibly alongside the launch of the iPad Pro, but could push back the plans until later this year or beyond, according to sources. Apple did not immediately respond when reached for comment.
Personal Pickup allows customers to place product orders online to be picked up in a local Apple Store. Apple will notify you when your order is ready, and you need valid identification to pick up your order. Presumably, this will remain true when the process expands internationally.
