As reported by MacRumors, Apple has rolled out its "Detailed City Experience" to Apple Maps in Philadelphia, Pennsylvania.

Apple recently rolled out its updated 3D mapping experience in Philadelphia, Pennsylvania, according to both Apple's iOS 15 features page and reports on Twitter.

When Apple announced the feature at WWDC21, it showed off the Bay Area in striking detail. A new, 3D version of the map included elevation differences with highways and their on and off-ramps. The new 3D version also includes detailed models of popular landmarks and destinations in the cities.

With the addition of Philadelphia, the "Detailed City Experience" is now available for the following cities in Apple Maps:

  • London, United Kingdom
  • Los Angeles, CA
  • New York, NY
  • Philadelphia, PA
  • San Diego, CA
  • San Francisco Bay Area, CA
  • Washington, DC
