Apple Stores drop Smart Signs, start selling third-party watch accessories

Confirming previous reports, Apple Retail Stores in the U.S. have started moving away from the Smart Sign iPad displays for product information, moving instead to an app on display products. Additionally, Apple Stores are now stocking third-party Apple Watch accessories for the first time.
Replacing Smart Signs, Macs, iPhones, and iPads in Apple Stores now feature a new Pricing app, which relays price, color and storage configuration options on the display products themselves. It can be accessed from the dock on display Macs, and the Home screen on iPhones and iPads. The Pricing app also lets you compare models and view featured accessories.
Apple Stores have also started selling a third party accessory for the Apple Watch, the ElevationLab NightStand. The stand comes in a few colors that match some of the Sport bands for the watch, and rests the watch on its side while it charges. Currently, it seems that the NightStand is the only third-party Apple Watch accessory being sold at Apple Stores.
