Apple Stores roll out screen protector application service worldwide

After an initial rollout in selected areas, Apple Retail Stores around the world are now offering a new service that applies screen protectors to iPhones. Created in partnership with accessory maker Belkin, the service utilizes the Belkin ScreenCare+ Application System, which is built to precisely apply screen protectors to iPhones.

From Belkin:

Some are reluctant to apply a screen protector as they are concerned it may compromise the look and feel of a brand new iPhone, or they have anxiety about applying the film perfectly. Belkin has developed the ScreenCare+ Application System to make such concerns a thing of the past. Expert application of our screen protectors ensures an impeccable result that not only mirrors the look and feel of the native screen, but is so clear, and so precise, its hard to know its there at all.

The system initially rolled out in Japan, and works with Belkin's InvisiGlass and Anti-Glare screen protectors. The service is only available for Apple's 4.7-inch and 5.5-inch iPhones.

Pricing for the service at Apple Stores has not been announced, though based on pricing at retail locations in Japan, it's likely to cost between $20 and $40.
