Best accessories for Pokémon: Let's Go!

The latest in the Pokémon franchise will be the Pokémon: Let's Go, Pikachu! and Pokémon: Let's Go, Eevee! games for Nintendo Switch, which hit stores on November 16, 2018. This new approach to the Pokémon series is much more relaxed and casual compared to the previous games, as it's geared more towards players of Pokémon Go, the mobile hit sensation. Here are some of the cool new accessories that'll help you have a fantastic Pokémon: Let's Go experience!
Catch 'em all!
The Poké Ball Plus is the main accessory you'll want. It's a miniaturized Pokéball that you can pair with your Nintendo Switch, along with the smartphone you play Pokémon Go on. For the Switch, you can use the Poké Ball Plus to simulate throwing an actual Pokéball in the game. With Pokémon Go, it's used to catch nearby Pokémon or spin Poké Stops. You can also take a Pokémon with you from Let's Go to walk in real life.
Stylishly charge your Poké Ball
Now that you have your Poké Ball Plus, you'll want a cool way to display it in your collection and charge it at the same time. This Charge Stand from HORI looks like something you'll find in a Pokémon Center, and all you need to do is plug it in. Then when your Poké Ball Plus needs to recharge for the night, just set it down in it and it'll juice up while you're not playing.
Better in-game movement
When you're not throwing Pokéballs at Pokémon in Let's Go, you're going to be navigating around the world as a young Pokémon trainer with their Pokémon at their side. That's why you'll want the HORI Pikachu D-Pad controller, as it provides the superior D-Pad button on the left side of your Nintendo Switch console. It provides more comfortable controls for your movement, and it's Pikachu themed, making it perfect for Pokémon: Let's Go, Pikachu!
Carry and protect
This case easily stores and protects your Poké Ball Plus accessory. It features a hard shell case that will protect your Poké Ball from scratches and bumps, and the carabiner makes it easy to clip it on and carry it around. There's also a mesh pocket inside to store the charging cable.
Switch protection
If you plan on playing Pokémon: Let's Go while you're out-and-about, you're going to need a carry case to protect your Nintendo Switch. This case from HORI features both Pikachu and Eevee on the front, along with the phrase, "Let's go!" The inside is lined with a soft material to protect the console from scratches, and there's a sleeve to hold other game cards.
Guide and Pokédex
The official Trainer's Guide & Pokédex has all of the information one needs to become the very best! This book guides you step-by-step on everything in the journey, so you're never lost and there are great beginner's tips. The entire Kanto region Pokédex is inside too, so you'll have all the ins-and-outs of every Pokémon you'll encounter in-game.
These are the best accessories out there so far for your Pokémon: Let's Go Pikachu/Eevee journey. Of course, we'd highly recommend picking up at least the Poké Ball Plus (opens in new tab), as it makes the game more fun and allows a second player to join you on your Let's Go adventure.
