First major update for SimCity BuildIt brings Tokyo-themed residential area

EA has released the first major update for SimCity BuildIt. The release, now available for iOS and Android, adds Tokyo Town residential areas and the international airport. The new buildings with various upgrade levels (from classic Japanese homes to neon drenched post-modern high rises) bring a new look and feel that refreshes the game experience.

As well as the new residential zone, the update also includes the Himeji Castle landmark and improved Global Trading HQ, which will enable mayors to locate and purchase items more easily. Check the respective stores for an update and let us know how you get on with the new content in the comments.
