Community Days in Harry Potter: Wizards Unite are designed to bring players together out in the world to achieve goals and maybe score some extra goodies in the process... at least, they were. With so many people experiencing Shelters in Place, and social distancing being critical, Niantic has transformed the Harry Potter: Wizards Unite experience. Now, Community Day: Stay at Home Edition will provide witches and wizards the opportunity to participate in Community Day from the safety of home!
Event Date and Time
The way the event times work has changed. Now, instead of just a few hours, Community Day: Stay at Home Edition will run for an entire 24 hours on April 18, 2020.
- Special Assignment rewards: Spellbooks, Potion Ingredients, Gold, and Murtlap Fragments.
- Increased Sightings: Central Park Registry page Foundables, including the Erumpent, Mountain Troll, Demiguise, Branch of Bowtruckles, and Pickett.
- Portmanteau: special 1 KM Portkeys containing Murtlap Fragments.
What is a Community Day?
Community Day normally features a specific type of Trace or activity that will appear more frequently during space of the event. While Community Day used to be limited to just three hours, until further notice the event will run for 24 hours and will be designed to play from home.
Community Days are built with community in mind so, even if you;re playing from home, feel free to share on social media using #WizardsUnite, and visit the official Harry Potter: Wizards Unite Community to connect with your fellow wizards and witches. We're all in this together!
