How to send someone a sketch with Apple Watch

The sketch feature on the Apple Watch lets you send more personal messages to anyone else with an Apple Watch. It's a great way to send a little note to tell someone you're thinking about them, or to express an emotion that perhaps a stock emoji doesn't cover. Or if you're like us, it's just a fun and different way to communicate with friends, family, and colleagues!

  • So like a lot of folks I don't have any friends with an Apple Watch yet so obviously I haven't tried this yet... but, am I assuming correctly that this function is limited to the 12 people I decide to put in my friends circle? Seems that way since I don't see any other way to get to a contact on a Watch...
  • Yea agreed, no one I know has it, thats because less than 1% of people in the US have it right now. Its like having bbm and noone to bbm. :(
  • My wife and I have our watched but something is not working. I can sketch and she sees it but when she sends one I do not receive hers. We tried to reboot both phones and watches. I can text her as well but what she sends only hits my iPhone and not my watch.
  • It's very annoying. They need to add a "clear" and a "send" button. If you mess up while drawing the other person still gets it. There's no do over. It's not very useful at the moment.
