Netflix will soon raise the price of its most popular streaming option by $1 per month. Currently $8.99, Netflix's option that allows you to watch two screens at a time with HD quality will soon cost $9.99 for new members.
Existing members currently paying $8.99, or in some cases, $7.99, will be able to keep their current pricing for varying amounts of time. Netflix has two other subscription options: a $7.99 per month plan that lets you watch on one screen at a time in standard definition, as well as a $11.99 per month plan that lets you watch on four screens at once, and provides streaming in both HD and Ultra HD. The prices for these plans will remain unaffected.
