The first trailer has just been released for Steve Jobs: The Man In the Machine, a new documentary about the late Apple co-founder. Directed by Alex Gibney, known for documentaries like We Steal Secrets: The Story of WikiLeaks, The Man in the Machine is framed as an honest, unflinching look at Jobs.
The Man in the Machine debuted earlier this year at the SXSW festival in Austin, Texas. Following this initial preview, Apple SVP of Internet Software and Services Eddy Cue spoke out against the film, calling it an "inaccurate and mean-spirited" look at Jobs.
Steve Jobs: The Man in the Machine opens in select theaters on September 4.
