Description: A massive, serpentine Pokémon, Gyarados is mostly blue with a tan belly. Its body is segmented with large, overlapping scales. It had four spiky white dorsal fins and a large three-pronged blue crest atop its head. There are small, white fins on either side of its face along with long curly barbels. Males have tan barbels, while females have white. Gyarados has beady, red eyes and seems to wear a permanent scowl upon its face.
Capable of Mega Evolution, Mega Gyarados is even bulkier and has a massive spined dorsal fin that forms a sail across its back. It has red markings down the length of its body and large yellow fins on either side of its face. Mega Gyarados' barbels have grown considerably, almost as long as its entire body and the spikes atop its head are black and much larger as well.
Whether Mega Evolved or not, Gyarados are best known for their violent tendancies and wicked temper. Known to wreak havoc on entire villages and continuing their destruction for days at a time, it's probably for the best that Gyarados are relatively rare in the wild.
