Google has revealed the design and details of its new upcoming Android feature that will show users how Google Play apps use their data. The feature is akin to Apple's privacy nutrition labels in the App Store.
Malicious apps on both iOS and Android reportedly clocked 2.4 million downloads and over $500,000 in revenue. The apps bombarded users with intrusive ads and even hid their icons to prevent users from uninstalling them.
Facebook has announced the testing of a new audio calling app called CatchUp, featuring indicators that show when your contacts are ready to receive a call. Better still, you don't need a Facebook account to use it.
