Tim Cook comments on attack in Orlando

At the beginning of Apple's WWDC 2016 keynote, CEO Tim Cook took a moment to address the attack that took place in Orlando on Sunday. Cook said that Apple offered its sympathies to those affected by the violence, which he called a "senseless and unconscionable act of hate."

On diversity, Cook said:

We know that it makes us stronger and moves everyone forward.

A violent attack took place over the weekend in Orlando, Florida, killing 49 people and wounding more than 50 others.
