Tim Cook may visit India later this week to meet with PM Modi

Citing unnamed sources familiar with the matter, Reuters is stating that Apple CEO Tim Cook will visit India later this week to meet with Prime Minister Narendra Modi. While there's no mention as to what's on the agenda, it is possible we may get to hear more about Apple's involvement in India's local manufacturing efforts.
Modi met with Cook last year during a visit to Silicon Valley. Apple is turning its attention to the Indian market this year, with a focus on increasing its market share in the country. The company is close to setting up its retail stores in the country, and a retail license will let Apple sell products directly to consumers.
Tim Cook is currently in China, where he's taking an interest in the local ride-hailing ecosystem:
