Hmm... I just don't seem to have these problems. I wonder why? As I am reading a feed, other feeds are loading in the background. This saves time and is something the web app does not do.

The native app is way too slow for me... Even on WiFi it takes longer than 10 minutes to update my feeds.

Jimmy:

I have not had the same experience. I have about 85 feeds I read. There is an initial sync period for NetNewsWire, but after that, no load time. I suppose that since I have spotty connections in my office, having the feeds cached is helpful, so I don't mind the extra time it take to load

I have used both the web app and the native app extensively and have to say the web app via safari is far better. It's MUCH faster (even if your on edge), it's more feature rich and frankly I like the UI better. I'm a huge fan of NetNewsWire but have to say they've missed the boat on native app thus far. In the time it takes to just load the app I've already read 3 or 4 items in my feeds via the web app.
