Review 7: RoboCop

Dead or alive you’re podcasting about RoboCop! It’s another edition of 80s movies with Don Melton, joined by Matt Drance, Guy English, and Rene Ritchie. Yes, it's a bunch of Apple nerds talking all about the Paul Verhoeven classic, which, like the Matrix, has no sequels (but does have guns, guns, guns!).

How well does it hold up, was it prescient, how does it cross-over with other classic movie and TV fare, and have any of our demos ever gone ED 209 wrong? Find out!

Yell at us via the Twitter accounts above. Loudly.

Interesting show, however, I have to correct one of the participants who like many has obviously never actually been to Detroit. Lake Michigan borders the west side of the state while Detroit is in the southeast corner. It's more than 150 from Detroit to Lake Michigan. when you see the Detroit shoreline, it's actually on the Detroit river which connects Lake St Clair to Lake Erie.
