Review 16: Real Genius

Review 16: Real Genius

Review is like app or game coverage but for movie series, television shows, comic books, and other geeky entertainment. It's great stuff you can watch and enjoy on your iPhone, iPad, or Apple TV! On this week's episode Don, Matt, Guy, and Rene visit Pacific Tech to talk Real Genius. While they don't hammer any six inch-spikes, they do get into Martha Coolidge's directing, Val Kilmer's acting, and how the idea of the military exploiting science back in 1983 plays in 2013. This one's for Jason!

Review 16: Real Genius

Like the dozens of other posts we've done in the last 48 hours?

I watched this movie on my Apple TV. Just like I use apps on my iPhone. We cover all the kinds of content you can enjoy on your Apple devices. Most of our readers love it. Because, human beings.

If this post isn't for you, please enjoy a different one.

I was surprised when I saw a review for a 29-year-old movie pop up on here. It's one of my favorites, and I figured I'd hear a quick five minute review on it before bed. Holy crap! I've seen the thing a half-dozen times, and never looked at it as anything more than a comedy. Not only was I treated to a feature movie length review, it's opened my eyes a bit more to the tech industry as a whole. I thought a lot of the experiences that I've had to deal with in the industry were rarities. It seems like taking advantage of young people and prematurely burning them out is much more prevalent than I first thought. I definitely need to go give the movie another watch.

Rene, can you post the listener survey link here? I didn't write it down when listening and would like to fill it out.
