Sweet deals on iPhone navigation apps this Black Friday and Cyber Monday

The North American maps are nice for Canadians who are travelling to the states. Mapquest and Google Maps requires a data connection, while these programs stop all the info you need on the device.
The maps probably won't go on sale in the Canadian app store since we don't have black Friday.

Copilot is by far one of the best gps apps I have used. It is worth much more than what they charge for it. I use it much more than my tom-tom or navigon apps. Copilot recommended!!!!!!

All the cheaper apps are nice but, and it's a big but, you can't compare them to ..say navigon. With spoken directions (street names too) and maps installed not continuously downloading it is by far much better pricey but much better. When in an electronics store I see people laying out alot of money on for example a nuvi and I drives me crazy. For $29 bucks you can have the same thing in an all in one package.

The reason I and others buy these apps are fiat all of the maps and software are installed on the phone. No 3G signal needed. Magellan works great for me

I've been wanting to pick up Navigon but was going to wait until after the holidays. Might as well get them now and save the $20.

Lol at the two first people recommending mapquest. These are quality nav apps. And yeah get Navigon kids, it's the best.

Navigon is Awesome and one of , if not , THE best gps I have ever used ! Curious how this co pilot stacks up considering it's only 10$ and also is fully downloaded to the iphone

Anyone know what the plans are for the maps for these companies? I think it's great to be able to download them for the times when you're out of 3g/data range. However, if you never get map updates (or rather, have to buy a new app for each year's map updates) it would be less useful.

TomTom is pretty good and well worth this money. That plus the car mount turns your iPod into a GPS, no data plan required.

I love the appeal of Navigon, but I don’t believe Navigon offers the Route Summary feature, which I use all the time. Is this still the case, or has Navigon finally decided to provide this basic feature?

I don't even know the way I finished up here, however I thought this put up was good. I don't understand who you might be however definitely you are going to a famous blogger in the event you are not already. Cheers!
