Every week a few of us from team iMore will bring you our current favorite, most fun and useful App Store apps, WebApps, jailbreak apps, even the occasional accessory, web site, or desktop app if the mood strikes us. As long as they’re iPhone, iPad, or iPod touch related, they’re fair game.
To see what we picked, and to tell us your pick, follow on after the break!
How do you record the screen of your iPhone, iPod touch, or iPad? That's the question several of our readers have asked this week. Sure, you can use a fancy HDMI-out dongle and a video capture card to mirror and record your display if you have the hardware and can get it working right. But if you're jailbroken there's an easier way to go about recording your iPhone or iPad display.
Zephyr by chpwn has been updated to version 1.0.2-1 with a few more enhancements. For starters, you can now disable gestures in any app you choose. This is handy for games and apps that may cause you to unintentionally invoke a gesture. Zephyr by chpwn has been updated to version 1.0.1 to add a few enhancements and fix a few existing bugs. Among the changes are fixes to disable multitasking gestures within apps such as Cut the Rope or Words with Friends where you may not want gestures to be active.

SwitcherCleaner is new jailbreak mod in Cydia that changes the behavior of the multitasking Fast App Switcher to only show apps that are actually running in the background, and keeps the quit button visible at all times.
AlbumArt on AppSwitcher does exactly what the title says - adds album art to your app switcher. I personally like having this functionality because I have a tendency to forget what songs come from what albums. This way I don't have to jump into my iPod app, I can simply bring up my app switcher and look without having to stop what I'm doing.
Once installed from Cydia there's nothing to configure or set up, it should just work. It's available for free and requires iOS 5.0 or higher.
