Apple has made the complete new iPad event keynote video available through iTunes. You can find the video under Podcasts > Technology > Tech news > Apple Inc > Apple Keynotes. You can then download just the event video or subscribe to all future events when they become available.

The free download is 980.9 MB; so if you are on a slow connection it may take a while to download. You can always see the event as a stream on Apple's site if you can't wait for the download.

Irritated by lyrics and podcast information appearing over the album art on your iPhone or iPod touch and want to know how to make it go away? Well you're in luck, you can disable this annoying overlay in 3 easy steps. We'll show you how after the break!

You may have lyrics to some songs in your iTunes Library, or you may download a podcast that has some show episode information, but when you tap the screen for the "scrubber", the lyrics or information, sits right on top of your gorgeous album artwork.

To disable the lyrics and podcast overlay in iOS 4:

1. Tap Settings
2. Tap iPod
3. Turn "Lyrics and Podcast Info" Off

Its that simple!

There's a crazy rumor floating around the web that Howard Stern, a popular radio personality who's been in the business for 35 years, will be leaving Sirius Satellite Radio after his contract ends in January to pursue a possible deal with Apple. The rumored deal calls for a $600 million 3-year contract for an internet broadcast show distributed through iTunes, and could be made available to Apple TV owners as well.

We'd take this with a king of all media sized grain of salt, however, as @SIRI_STOCK isn't the official Twitter account for Sirius. In addition, $600 million for 3 years seems a bit over the top. Then again, anything related to Stern is usually considered to be somewhat controversial, so your guess is as good as ours.

I know I'd be interested if this turned out to be true. Any of our readers feel the same? Sound off in the comments below!

UPDATE: It appears to be a hoax. Softsquach blogged about how they used the twitter account to mess with the community a bit.

Looks like iPhone 3.0 Beta 5 doth giveth a little as well. That tiny email icon present in the top navigation bar of podcasts was decorative only until Beta 4, when it began to allow you to email the iTunes Store link for a friend for any podcast you'd downloaded over-the-air (at least for some it did). Now, with Beta 5, that tiny email icon is powered up and working for podcasts synced over via iTunes as well.

Earth shattering? No. But if you're enjoying a great episode of Phone different, GDGT, TWiT, YLNT, or whatever else floats your audio boat, and you want to give a friend easy access to equal entertainment, it's certainly a great convenience.

Usually the main question from someone who is looking into buying an iPhone is battery life. No different here, jstac wants to know about the iPhone 3G's battery life. My answer is simple -- all depends on how you use the device. It can be good and it can be bad.

Another question that gets asked a lot about the iPhone 3G is it's build quality. While I personally have had no issues with mine since July 11th, other people have not been so lucky. How about you? Be sure to check out this ongoing thread on the build quality of the iPhone 3G.

Also, this is important: the iPhone Blog and (by extension) all y'all iPhone lovers have been called out by CrackBerry.com. Take a listen to this "Hit me on my BlackBerry" song, note the bits 2/3rds of the way through knocking TiPb. Anybody up for mixing down a pro-iPhone song? Let us know the comments (Wait-a-Thon time!) and if there's enough interest we'll make a contest out of it.

• Full price may be available in the US, we bet it'll be hefty given what AT&T shells out to Apple for each activation. All in all, the $199 price is nice, but it is a sign Apple failed to revolutionize the industry

I don't know if this is the right email address to send this to, but I was wondering if the new IPhone that most people are expecting at WWDC has passed through the FCC? Is it possible for Apple to keep that information confidential? The original IPhone passed the FCC on May 17 of last year, which is more than a month before it was released. If you could answer my question, or pass it along to someone who can, I would Appreciate it.
