Review 8: The Princess Bride

Our names are Don, Matt, Guy, and Rene. This is the Princess Bride. Prepare for podcast! Inconceivably, this is the one where we give you our words as Spaniards that we talk all about Rob Reiner’s classic storybook story. (Only not left handed.)

What made it so memorable, how did they get away with making it at all, who’s left, unemployed, in Greenland, and what happens when it goes to 50? (Yes, to 50!) Find out!

  • I haven't even heard it yet, but... Yes! This has to be fun! Come on... I have gotten through so much of my life quoting scenes from this movie! I'm not just saying this, I really mean it!
    ... "Anybody want a peanut?"
... If only THIS was a live broadcast like the iMore show. It probably would've gotten out of control, but hey everybody gets shunned from someplace at least once!
  • Great cast guys! Sent from the iMore App
  • Wow 50 years. Inconceivable!
Even a popular kids show has used the movie as a reference in an episode.
  • Can you guess which one?
  • I cannot!
  • Enjoyed all your podcasts so far. ;) As far as Princess Bride goes, I was wondering if any of you got confused at the cinema? I remember walking out because I thought uups wrong movie - I expected Buttercup and got Columbo. After this of course it was magic. ;)
