The latest event for Animal Crossing: New Horizons is now underway. International Museum Day runs from May 18 - May 31 and takes place, you guessed it, at the museum. Players can participate in a Stamp Rally hosted by our favorite curator owl, Blathers. Here's everything you need to know about International Museum Day and the Stamp Rally.

When is International Museum Day?

Much like Bunny Day, International Museum Day is an event that spans multiple days instead of just one. The 2020 event runs from May 18 - May 31. You can participate in the stamp rally multiple times during this window, once per day. If you do this, you'll receive the same prizes each time.

What do you do for International Museum Day?

Blathers hosts a stamp rally at the museum. He gives you a stamp card and will ask you to collect stamps by visiting special tables scattered throughout your museum. There are tables in the bug exhibit, the fish exhibit, and the fossil exhibit, but there aren't any in the art gallery.

There are three stations in the bug gallery. The locations of the stations differ from player to player. Run around the bug exhibit and interact with all three stations. Once that's done, return to Blathers. He'll give you a completion stamp and a Bug plaque as a reward.

What do the reward plaques look like?

The three reward plaques look a lot like the plaques that mark each of the wings within the museum. If you're really into collecting bugs, fish, and fossils, then you can use these to turn your house into a museum. We suggest placing the plaques next to different rooms to signify which exhibit is housed in each room.

As of April 23, 2020, players can now encounter Jolly Redd's Treasure Trawler, where Jolly Redd will sell his many treasures. While some of his treasures might just be haunted fakes, at least a few are genuine works of art you can donate to Blathers for your island's art gallery. Redd only shows up on your secret beach at the northern end of the island, so keep your eyes peeled for his visits!

Owl be there

International Museum Day is finally here bringing with it the Stamp Rally. Blathers is super eager for us all to participate in this event, so let's gather up all of those stamps and earn those three fish, bug, and fossil plaques as rewards.
