Apple is using TikTok as one way to promote its upcoming 'Spring Loaded' event.

As reported by The Apple Post, Apple is currently running a promoted post on the social media platform to get the word out about its upcoming event on Tuesday, April 20th. The post is quite simple and features the same Apple logo animation that the company released as a cool augmented reality experience when it announced the event last week. It also features some music and, at the end, provides the details about when the event is happening.

@Apple

Interestingly, the information at the end points attendees to watch the event on YouTube rather than the Apple Events website or the company's own TV app. Perhaps Apple is betting that the TikTok audience is more likely to tune in on YouTube rather than its own platform, which would probably be a safe bet.

The time on the information also says to tune in at 6:00 PM on April 20th which, depending on your time zone, would be incorrect. The event kicks off at 1:00 PM PDT, so make sure to tune in at whatever time that equals to in your time zone!

The ad also features a song, which turns out to be 'Sleepwalking' by Super Duper. While the song doesn't give any hints about what to expect at the event, it could be a hint as to what song might open up the event, as Apple commonly starts its events with a song. You can check out the song on Apple Music below:

Apple's event on Tuesday is expecting to feature announcements of a new iPad Pro as well as the company's long-rumored AirTags. There are a slew of other potential product announcements including new iMacs, new AirPods, and a new Apple TV.
