Bose brings Bluetooth to its Wi-Fi speaker lineup with the new SoundTouch 10

Bose today took the wraps off of the latest entry in its wireless speaker lineup, the SoundTouch 10. With the SoundTouch 10, Bose is aiming to shake things up a bit with its wireless multi-room SoundTouch lineup, bringing Bluetooth connectivity to give users another option for streaming from a device. Additionally, Bose has also introduced refreshed versions of its SoundTouch 20 and 30 speakers with Bluetooth, alongside two sounders and home theater systems.

As for the new guy in the pack, the SoundTouch 10 is small compared to its bigger brothers, measuring in at just under 8.5-inches tall and 5.56-inches wide. The speaker also features Bose's 2.5" "Unidome" transducer, with the company stating that the SoundTouch 10 "plays cleaner, deeper, and louder than any single speaker of its stature." Additionally, Bose says that it will add in-app integration with Spotify in early 2016, enabling users to stream their Spotify playlists right from the SoundTouch app.

As far as pricing and availability are concerned, the new SoundTouch 10 is available now from Bose for $199.95, while the refreshed SoundTouch 20 and 30 are available for $349.95 and $499.95, respectively.
