Trade in your iPhone 5 for up to $350 off on an iPhone 6 at Best Buy

When customers trade in a working iPhone 5 and activate a new iPhone 6 or iPhone 6 Plus at Best Buy, they'll receive a $200 gift card from the store. They'll also receive a $50 card just for activating their new iPhone, but only on June 2 and 3.

You'll get more still if you switch carriers. On Verizon and Sprint, signing up for an Edge or leasing plan respectively will earn you a $100 gift card, while AT&T is offering $100 in bill credits when you become a new customer. With the trade-in and activation cards, this works out to around $350 ($300 if you buy after June 3).

This deal is only available in Best Buy retail locations, and not on their online store.

  • What about the 5s? Sent from the iMore App
  • Looks like it's only the iPhone 6 16GB.
    Which is a shame.
Apple shouldn't even make a 16GB version. Sent from the iMore App

  • That is a shame. The 16GB version is just a waste of money. Sent from the iMore App
  • 16GB? That would be all of my programs and data. Wouldn't work for me, since I have a 5C, am not switching carriers, and have no interest in leasing a phone. Will just wait until my contract is up in October and buy whatever comes next (6S Plus?)
