The Typo 2 keyboard add-on accessory for the iPhone 5 and 5s that launched earlier this year now has a bigger brother made for the iPhone 6. The accessory is now on sale on Typo's website for $99, although the company is showing that new orders won't ship until December 15.
The design of the new Typo 2 keyboard for the iPhone 6 model is supposed to be based on Apple's software keyboard for the phone. You may remember that the first version of the Typo was the subject of a lawsuit from BlackBerry, which claimed that the company used its trademark QWERTY keyboard design. In a new interview with Re/code, Typo's CEO Laurence Hallier would not comment on the ongoing legal case.
Re/code also reports that Typo is planning to launch a version of the Typo keyboard for the larger iPhone 6 Plus sometime in mid-2015. They are also developing a keyboard add-on for the iPad that will be released sometime in 2015 as well.
