yes, but the only difference is that Apple fix their mistakes within few weeks max, if not few days. Microsoft, on the other hand, sleeps on some serious and critical bugs for months. Sometimes the fix wont see the daylight until a whole Service Pack is released.

So yea, corporate behaviour is what matters!!!

What are you talking about Apple would be broke if they had a commercial about every Microsoft security issue, the iPhone doesn't bring in enough revenue to pay for that. The commercials are just more generalized about how much better the Mac is. I like mac, it doesn't matter if you like a different platform it's what works for you.

I am a mac only user and yes Apple has a few issues... no one is perfect! The fact that apples products are so polished from the start is the reason that mac fans out there are so fast to defend them... OH and the fact we as mac users pay so much more for stuff, is another reason we are so fast to defend our Apple product. bottom line if you don't like what you get from apple you can always turn to windows... and if you don't like windows you can always turn to mac! freedom of choice!

infamous “guest account” data deletion bug looks to have been squashed.

Had this been a Microsoft bug, Apple would have had TV ads out within 24 hours with that smug yuppie gloating.

But from Apple, nary a word of apology, or explanation about a major flaw in their security model. When was the last time an unprivileged guest account in Windows could delete someone elses data? Windows 98 maybe?
