Apps like this make me want to jailbreak my Ip4 and iPad. Why oh why Apple doesn't allow apps like this to be approved in the AppStore is beyond me.
Ok, so what are the downfalls to jail breaking people? I am really interested in doing this. I've been an IPhone user since 2007 and I am just now seriously considering this.
ghop , i really have no idea. you would really have to do some damage to ruin your phone when jailbreaking.
Warranty is fine. If you have a problem just restore to normal os.

Only problem with this app is if you go change wallpapers you see any of the locked folders without the password!!!!! Hope they can fix this!

There aren't really any downfalls to jailbreaking, other than having to do your homework. There are many things that come up which can be a mystery unless you find help, either online, or through other people. You really shouldn't jailbreak if you're someone who just wants extra perks without paying attention to things (like when to update, and when not to update... and what will remain on your phone, and what you'll lose each time).
If you're going to jailbreak for only one app or added feature, it's not worth the hassle, in my opinion. I don't really get people who jailbreak just for one SMS app, or just to tether. But, if you're interested in several extra functions, then by all means go for it. At lest try it. You can always go back.
Just my personal viewpoint. I know others disagree.

I have to admit, tethering to my iPad would be the number one reason. I've been reading info on jail breaking, like when to and when not to update, I just wonder if the extra hassle is worth it. I don't know of anyone, personally, who has jail breaked their phone so I can only go off of sites like TIPB.
I don't even no of what method to use if I do. From what I can tell there are several.
As this app ONLY manages your camera roll it is not worth the $3 IMHO. You cannot manage any of your synced photos and the privacy features are easy to override, simply plug in the phone to a computer. Until they add or fix these huge issues, I won't recommend it.

Personally, I've always stuck with the Dev-Team, just because they're familiar to me, and I know theirs always works well. But, that's not to say the others don't.
The only way to judge if it's worth it is to try it. No amount of reading in the world will give you the real jailbreak experience. You'll soon realize whether you'll remain a lifelong jailbreaker, or an experimenter.
I haven't jailbroken my iPhone 4 (yet) since having both my 3G and 3GS jailbroken... and don't know if I ever will. So far, it's been really nice not being bothered with the whole thing. I've heard many other people here say they've just gotten tired of it. It's a geek thing that can really wear on some people after awhile.

I installed this last night and overall it's great just needs a few fixes to make it better. I'm sure it will improve soon with updates.
When you install it and create an album, or move it over to another one, when you sync it back to your computer, does iPhoto see and accept this change, or does it break it back to what it was before this app changed it?
Um guys two words for you Photo-Sort, manage your photos without iTunes sync them wirelessly and password protect them and guess what your phone doesn't need to be jb however if your reading this then you are most likely already jb
I can't find it in Cydia! Has it been remove or is the server down?
installed it and iphone 4 stuck on the white apple when rebooting! when restored photo library got a big black shape instead of the icons!??! wrote to the developper to know how i can install it without risking another boring reinstall (got to do all the pwnage Tools DFU mode because itunes obviously gave me an error 21) hope i'll be able to use it, it seems really great!
@iMikey- It's there. I couldn't find it at first either, but once I reloaded a page in Cydia, then it showed up under Sections > Data Storage
After I downloaded PhotoAlbums+, i used it for a while and then turned the iphone off for the night. The next morning, when i turned it on, every application I used was only using 1/4 of the screen. When I opened The Albums (displaying in 1/4 of the screen) it sayed that it requiered a syncronization with iTunes. I sincronized the photo albums but it's still only using 1/4 of the screen. I'll have to restore my iphone. Nobody else is having this problem?
No leed to restore. I was already downloading iTunes and the newest 4.2 software when I thought about entering safe mode. In sbs settings, go to power and then enter safe mode. After that everything went back to normal. I am in fact happily writing this message from the iPhone.
I have an iPhone 3g, and I'm using this iPhone photos backup program to help me copy and backup my iPhone photos to my computer so that I can share those fun photos with my friends. It can backup both iPhone photos that you sync from iTunes and youor Camera Photos on your iPhone

I downloaded this app and was very happy that I could actually organize my pictures on my iPhone. Made it a lot easier to find specific pictures. BUT..... when I rebooted my phone I got the white Apple and it just kept rebooting itself and never got back in to the SpringBoard. I tried to go in to Safe mode with the same result. I relunctantly had to restore my phone and have not tried to reinstall it again. Would like to use it as I really like the app. I have a 3GS with iOS 4.1. My friend also had the exact same problem with his iPhone 4 iOS 4.1. Has anyone else experienced this problem? I emailed the issue to the developer, but have not heard back from them yet.
I am having the same problem as Iain. Stuck in apple logo loop after a reboot on 4.1.2 on a 3GS. I am more than annoyed and would like my money back. The photos I took on vacation that i wanted to sort with this app I'm going to lose if I'm forced to restore.
Protect album with password only works on iPhone.. plug the phone on a PC and .. ohhh .. album is wide open. That's not cool. But to make albums and sort photos, it works good.
So I’ve been enjoying Photoalbums+.but igot a big prob. Everytime i save a picture from email or i reboot my Iphoneand then go to my photo albums and it immediately goes to a screen that says “please wait, updating library,” which processes EVERY photo back into the camera roll (over 800) and I lose all of my albums and passwords…this is incredibly frustrating and I can’t seem to find anything on Google about it , It happens to be EVERY time! anyone else with this prob?
How do I add photos to mu custom albums? Am I missinsg something?

Well, I tried at least 10 to 20 app store photo albums, either buy it to try or crack it to try. The answer is none of them satisfy me. Until I bought PA+ on Cydia. Satisfied. With it. This is what an iPhone photos app should be. Flawlessly intergrated in iOS 5 without you notice. It does not only label your photos, but you can move photos from camera roll. Impressive.
