iTunes Radio made a brief appearance in the UK and Canada

While the rest of the non-American world waits patiently to receive iTunes Radio, it seems today some folks in the UK and Canada managed to grab a glimpse of the service before it was promptly taken away. 9to5Mac received numerous tips from folks in the UK who had just seen iTunes Radio turn up in their iOS 7 Music app for the first time, but it wasn't long before it was gone again.

iTunes Radio is rumored to launch outside the U.S. in early 2014, and today's appearance may be nothing more than a glitch. The prompt nature with which it was turned off again would lend to that theory. So, for now, we continue to wait. If you were one of the lucky ones that snagged a go while it was live, let us know what you thought of it.

iTunes Radio made a brief appearance in the UK and Canada

It will be hard work for apple to get them to agree to allow it in the uk. I hope we get it though.

You guys in Europe and Canada, etc.... if you don't have other streaming music services like Pandora, it will be an amazing and refreshing experience to be able to customize a station to your own liking. But, if you do have Pandora (which I doubt you do since I was outside the US and tried to connect to only get "this service is not available in your country" message), you'll find that iTunes Radio does leave a bit to be desired. Nonetheless..... it is a great new experience. Enjoy it.
