Comic: Who actually pays for your Apple Music free trial?

Ed: Welcome to this week's edition of The Pixel Project: a weekly comic from Diesel Sweeties' Rich Stevens on Apple, technology, and everything in-between. Today: Who actually pays for your Apple Music free trial?

but are you gonna buy it? why would i buy music i can get for free?

because artists deserve to get paid? cant apple pay them and include it in the price of an iphone?

millions of hours of creative work, reduced to a feature on a smartphone. : but no u2 albums or im switching to android!

  • These really aren't funny. Is that the intent?
  • Yeah, this one wasn't really funny at all. This one was more like, "Here's my view of Apple Music" and he forgot to add a joke or a zinger. I love the pixel art, but this one was a little too much of trying to get his point across. We get it, you think Apple reduced all music to a feature on a phone and they should pay for the free trial.
  • I'm not sure why there's so much controversy over Apple Music. Either the artists see value in being part of Apple Music, which includes a free trial, or they don't. This isn't the only business where you have to work for free sometimes to get customers long term. Sent from the iMore App
  • I don't think the artist should work for free. I have never worked a day in my life for free so they shouldn't have to either. Sent from the iMore App
