Just how pink is the rose gold iPhone 6s? We took photos in the wild, now you tell us!

There have been many claims made about the hues of the iPhone 6s and 6s Plus's rose gold color. "IT'S PINK!" "IT'S COPPER!" "IT'S. ROSE. GOLD. DARN. IT." Let's put the arguing to rest: We went out around New York City and photographed the iPhone 6s with all manner of pink items to see if we could truly answer this dogged riddle once and for all.

Around two hours (and many a bypasser wondering why I was taking a photo of an iPhone with another, bigger, iPhone) later, we're still split. In dimmer lighting, the iPhone looks very pink indeed. In the sunlight, however, it's almost a champagne copper, and against truly neon items—like the bike tape or cross beams below—it looks practically silver. So take a peek (and a pop) at our gallery and give us your opinions: Just how pink is the rose gold iPhone? Too pink? Not pink enough? Are you tired of us saying pink yet?
