T-Mobile reveals pricing for the iPhone SE and 9.7-inch iPad Pro

T-Mobile has announced pricing for the newly announced iPhone SE{.nofollow} and 9.7-inch iPad Pro{.nofollow}. The U.S. carrier has kicked off pre-orders, enabling consumers to scribble their name down on the dotted line and wait patiently for their new gadget to arrive.

Pricing for the iPhone SE starts at $16.67 per month on a 24-month plan while the 9.7-inch iPad Pro will set purchasers back $30.42 a month for 24 months. See full pricing details below:

  • iPhone SE (16GB) - $0 down and $16.67/24 months
  • iPhone SE (64GB) - $0 down and $20.84/24 months
  • 9.7-inch iPad Pro (32GB) - $0 down and $30.42/24 months
  • 9.7-inch iPad Pro (128GB) - $159.99 down and $30/24 months
  • 9.7-inch iPad Pro (256GB) - $309.99 down and $30/24 months

  • Tempting, have the 6s+. This is like getting a Gameboy Advance with 3DS internals, good old classic.
  • I was waiting for them but I'm still going to go with the SIM-free route because I want to be free of extra payments.
  • Looks like it would be really stupid to get the 16GB SE version... they're both $0 down and there's only a $4 difference per month?
  • Stupid? It's a $100 difference over the 24 months, same difference as if paid full price.
  • Well maybe "stupid" was a little harsh, but generally T-Mo wants you to pay that $100 up front, which turns away many buyers from the upgraded version of the phone. This removes that caveat and makes it much more palatable.
  • Oh yeah, you're right. Although I actually didn't get charged the extra $100 for my 64GB 6s - see comment below.
  • I wish they did zero down on the 6s 64 models.
  • I actually pre-ordered the 64GB 6s when it launched and they never charged me the extra $100 they were supposed to. I thought it might show up on the next bill, but nope. I even asked, probably a bad idea, and they said I was a "good customer" - right, I had been with them for just 3 weeks at that point haha, but hey, works for me... And I still pay just $15/mo for it, and $50/mo for 10GB of data, not bad.
  • I don't know if I want to get this "SE" or wait until they release the "iPhone 7". T-Mobile been bugging me for the longest while now about upgrading but i really don't want the iPhones they currently offering. Think I'll sit this one out for a few more months to see what Apple will bring.
