The app is already been taken off the store – link doesn’t work and search for app comes up with nothing ~ that didn’t take long for Apple to squash.

Looks as if the app has already been taken off the App Store. The link seems to be broken and a search for the app doesn’t bring up any results.

http://iphone.tvcatchup.com/ This just launched in the UK and works fine over 3G currently. It has 11 of the main UK channels available live with a 30 second delay. It’s full screen, good quality too. (Those outside the UK probably won’t get far clicking that link). Still can’t use the Sling app except on wi-fi though. Makes no sense!

Well, since Apple changed their policy and allows this in Apps now, I wouldn’t expect Apple to do a thing. However, I’m sure AT&T will cry to them about it, and Apple may pull the App based on a technicality, like the fact that it is misleading, or doesn’t function as intended.
