Does TripJournal sync with an online website or something? Because if it uses the photos captured by the iPhone and then u delete those off the iPhone.. then it’s kinda useless, no?

I understand using Audible if you’re driving or walking to work. But if you’re flying, why not read the actual book instead of listening to someone else read it to you?

Definitely will not subscribe to audibles “revenue stream”. I’d rather buy a book when I want, not within a time frame that pressures me to use it or lose it. I like the service, but not the business model.

Trip Journal is great for long trips and vacations but check out momento for recording your own private “diary”. It also pulls in feeds from other social web tools.

My pick would be an Audible app for the iPhone. I love Audible but can’t believe they are so far behind in this!

Here's one that is a typical example of a great app hidden in the middle of 100,000 other apps. It's called "INSTAPLAYLIST" - $1.99. It works just like apple remote but with youtube videos instead. WIth this app, you can control any device that has access to youtube (mac, PC, ps3, xbox, newer tv's with internet enabled). Connects seemlessly via the same wifi connection as your youtube playing device.

Personally, I use this app through my ps3..so that all the youtube music videos that are showing up on my TV via the ps3, will be also connected to my home stereo entertainment center =) So I can walk away from my living room, and stil be in control of everything my 7 speaker stereo is playing.

Believe me guys, Give this app a shot and even try setting it up the same way as mentioned above if possible.

UPS Mobile? The FEDEX app is better.

FEDEX app shows you the entire progress from receipt of billing information, current status and whereabout, up to estimated or committed Delivery Date, including the person who received it. In addition, each tracking number automatically is added into list of tracked items

UPS Mobile shows only the current whereabout of your package and est. Delivery Date. And thats the only info it will show. Very bare.

I know because I use both of these very often.

For UPS, use the Package Tracker Lite instead.

I don’t think Audible has an app for the iPhone, the functionality is built into iPod, but I wish they would have a streaming app like for the BlackBerry, so if there’s a book I haven’t downloaded on the iPhone I can still listen to it.
