Rogers Live 2010 FIFA World Cup Rogers has released a free iPad app called Rogers Live 2010 FIFA World Cup, allowing users on their network to watch:

All 64 games available in English (including consecutive “Round of 16” broadcasts) and 56 games broadcast in French.

Works over Rogers 3G (7.2 HSDPA) or Wi-Fi, and incredibly:

Data consumed by the application over 3G will NOT be deducted from your data bucket.

You need to be in Canada, and a Rogers subscriber (you need to be on the Rogers 3G network to authenticate) but if you are, try it out and let us know what you think.

Some iPhone 4 orders prepared to ship, others getting cancelled?
  1. Keith says:

Wow, that’s pretty sweet. Hey AT&T, get a clue.

  2. Joost says:

Bites that it’s not available for the iPhone

  3. Svetoslav says:

It is available as well for the iPhone – look for ROD (Rogers On Demand) – only costs $10 for viewing all World Cup games and again works both on 3G and WiFi and 3G data is not taken out of data bucket.

  4. Chatnoir80 says:

Wow. Color me jealous AND impressed.

  5. tony says:

I don’t get it… why make an awesome app like this only to be offered to IPAD 3G ONLY??? Serious waste of time.

  6. Dylan says:

Not as great as it sounds.

You can get it on the iphone and blackberry too. But you have to pay 5 bucks extra a month and a 10 dollar one time fee. It laggs and half the time never connects.

  7. Herry says:

Very good FIFA world good match
