With Apple only giving us a very limited version of AirPlay video streaming, the Jailbreak community has picked up the slack with AirVideoEnabler, a simple tweak that brings AirPlay video to all apps.
After Erica Sadun and Steven Troughton-Smith showed what was required to add AirPlay capability to 3rd party apps, a developer going by Zone-MR has created a Jailbreak hack which is available now on Cydia. While only available on a private repo (http://cydia.zone-mr.net) it will not be long before it is available on other repos as well.

I agree with the above. This is awesome stuff but we need the untethered JB before we can utilize this fully.
I think this, plus that iPad-out app are making jail breaking look more and more attractive to me.
The tethered jb is not that bad just takes some planning... You have to use your head.
@Matt Hall- tethered Jailbreak + iPhone = potential disaster when you need it the most. Ok for iPod or iPad maybe. Reboots don't just happen when you want them to.

I think I'm going to upgrade to 4.2.1 and go tethered to try out. Not sure yet but I'm very impatient.
I can't wait to use this! But seeing as I'm not getting my AppleTV until christmas (the gf is stern on not giving it to me early, haha), i'll have to wait. no need to upgrade to 4.2.1 for me yet as I don't have an airplay compatible device til christmas :p
We picked up a wireless printer too for airprint (but she insisted on wrapping that too and not letting me touch it til christmas). I have a feeling I'll be playing with gadgets and jailbreaking on christmas day
I can't understand Why people would bother upgrading to 4.2 to lose their non tethered jailbreak at this point. Just stick with 4.1.
This is great but is not working for photos like a flickr or picasa app, it doesn't show the AirPlay Icon
Ok .... Added the repo , it has no packages in it ? Looked on the cydia store , its not there ? How in the hell do you get it ? Lol
