If you can’t get enough of the impending British Royal Wedding, now there is an app for that! Trinity Mirror has launched a universal iOS app that includes photo galleries, video clips and audio from its royal correspondent James Whitaker.

Appealing to all users, whether they be staunch Royalists or just swept up in the fairytale romance between William and Kate, prepare to be enchanted by their compelling story while devouring this exclusive content from the Daily Mirror: each chapter contains an introductory video and picture gallery, with the background behind each image being easily and smoothly accessible by simply tapping on the 'info' or 'audio' icon on each image.

The question is, is there any demand for an app like this? Is anyone really that interested in the upcoming Royal Wedding to actually buy an app? Let us know what you think in the comments!

[$1.99 - iTunes-Link]

Are you kidding me? There are people out there who live for this sort of thing. As we obsess over gadgets and tech, there are swarms of people who obsess over celebrities, and royalty is often at the top of the heap. Just watch: as we get closer to the wedding, whenever it is, people will begin to go nuts. I will be even more grateful that I don't have cable news.

I'm so totally installing this app and will spend all day learning about this modern day fairy-tale romance.

I prefer free apps, particularly for this event. Hello! Magazine has a free app called "The Royal Wedding by Hello!" for the iPad, iPhone and iPod Touch.

Lovely, So I can pay 1.99 +tax to learn more about a family, who has no power in the UK Government, Lives in a palace, drives Rolls Royces, and has loads of $$$, all while feeling great about the fact that I will never achieve those heights. SIGN ME UP SIR!

Personally, I think it's grand that there's something (at least until 4-29) to take our minds off all the awful stuff in this world (you know - famine, disease, war, global shifitng...) - which most of the Royal Wedding apps are geared to do! Y'all should check out the one on iTunes called: "Dress the Royals - Wedding Edition" - great fun and very inexpensive! While it has nothing to do with the Royal Wedding other than the fantasy of a paper doll like app, the artwork is beautiful and the choices are great! Whether your little princess dresses Kate in one of her 4 wedding dresses or you go the more irreverent route and dress Wills in the gown - (all in good fun, of course)- you can share your creations on FaceBook or via e-mail. This lighthearted gentle poke at the Royals is perfect for the upcoming nuptials that so many of us wish we were invited to....
