Google Play Music All Access crosses the border to Canada

Google's Play Music All Access subscription service is now streaming in Canada! By signing up to All Access, you can get a healthy cloud library of tunes, as well as your own private collection. Us Canadians are used to these sorts of services taking awhile to get up here, but it sure is welcome. As an early bird promotion, Google is cutting the normal subscription rate from $9.99 to $7.99, and tossing in 30 days of service for free. You'll also get Chromecast support as usual, plus, as of recently, you can stream out to Sonos.

John McAfee's Chadder aims to keep your crazy messages private

John McAfee and his new company, Future Tense Private Systems (FTC), have released an encrypted chat messaging app for mobile users. The app is named 'Chadder' and it is now available on Android and Windows Phone, with an iOS version due in the coming weeks. The app is meant to address the growing concerns of mobile users who worry about government eavesdropping, especially after the Edward Snowden NSA leaks in the news.

Wordament sequel 'Snap Attack' reportedly dropping for iOS later this year

Microsoft's popular Wordament game has enjoyed success across the board and the game is set to sport a sequel as early as tomorrow – Wordament Snap Attack. If you're not familiar with Wordament, it's a word game putting players against each other in a continuous series of two minute matches to find as many words as possible. Snap Attack will be changing things up without sacrificing on gameplay.
