Old iCloud backups can eat up a tremendous amount of storage space in your iCloud account.

Deleting old ones from time to time is a great way to free up some extra space for other things. In my experience, a lot of folks don't realize there are old backups stored in iCloud they may not need. This typically happens if you upgrade from one device to another. Since iCloud stores backups based on device ID, you may end up with a duplicate backup. Luckily, managing and deleting iCloud backups is super simple!

How to save space in iCloud by deleting old backups
