YouTube Capture gets 1080p uploads, other improvements

Google's YouTube Capture app for iPhone has been updated, adding 1080p video uploads, along with other improvements and bug fixes. These include improved audio sync and more detail in your upload feedback. Users can also now share videos to there social networks after they upload instead of just before.

Dolphin browser for iPhone and iPad updated with Evernote integration, Wi-Fi broadcast, and more

Dolphin, a popular alternative browser for iPhone and iPad has been updated with a slew of new features including Evernote integration that allows you to send web content directly from your clipboard straight to Evernote. Other new features include WiFi broadcast, Dolphin Connect, easier sharing features, and more.

Rivr for App.net updated with new features and a refreshed UI

If you're still using App.net and are in the market for a new client, you may want to take another look at Rivr which just got updated with lots of new features and enhancements to existing ones. New features include Camera+ integration, night time mode, markdown support, and more. The interface has also gotten a bit of a facelift as well as some refinements for existing features.

Square apps updated to support Passbook and gift cards

Square has just updated all their apps to add support for gift cards. It also doesn't stop there, the gift cards will also be Passbook compatible. The Square Wallet app will now allow you to create and receive gift cards at your favorite places locally while the Square Register app has received an update to allow merchants to redeem gift cards through the service.

DataVault for iPhone and iPad now supports automatic iCloud backup

DataVault for iPhone was updated a little while back with quite a few new features, most notably automatic iCloud sync. While you can still sync with Dropbox, DataVault Desktops, over Wi-Fi, and via iOS file sharing, iCloud is great addition.

Facebook for iOS updated to version 5.1, causing issues for many

Facebook has just updated their app for iPhone, iPad, and iPod touch to version 5.1 which brings with it updates to make chat easier to access, a way to add favorites to the top of your chat panel, multi-photo upload, and more. Unfortunately, many users are reporting multiple issues with the new update as well.

Trillian instant messenger app gets updated to version 2.0, now includes iPad support
